O'Shaquie Foster says he's spent years eyeing a bout against Emanuel Navarrete. On Oct 24 in San Antonio, Texas, that wish comes true as the pair face off in a three-belt junior lightweight title unification.
Both fighters have a claim for divisional supremacy, an argument which will be settled as they square off from the Frost Bank Center, with Foster risking his WBC title, while Navarrete puts his WBO and IBF belts on the line.
"What I don't want is an entire night where we're just jabbing each other to see who can land more jabs. I think people want to see a good fight. They want to see a war," Navarrete said at the final press conference. "They want to see both fighters come in with the intention of winning the titles. I'm talking about an attractive
fight, a tough fight, maybe even a bloody fight."
