Ty Gibbs will run Kyle Busch's vibrant M&M's paint scheme for the Bristol night race, Samantha Busch announced on social media on Aug. 13.
M&M’s was a longtime sponsor of Busch's when he drove for Joe Gibbs Racing’s No. 18. The Bristol race is Sept. 19.
“Bristol was always one of Kyle’s favorite tracks. He loved racing under the lights, found so much success there, and the iconic M&M’S car holds some of the best memories of his career and our life together," Samantha Busch said.
“Going back without him will be heartbreaking. He should be there. But I’m so grateful to be able to tell you that those iconic M&M’S colors will be coming back to Bristol, one last time, on the 54 car. It’s a chance to honor him at a place he loved so much, surrounded
by our NASCAR family and the fans who loved him too.”
Kyle Busch, a two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion, died from a severe bacterial pneumonia that progressed into sepsis on May 21, 2026. He was 41.
Busch won seven times at Bristol Motor Speedway, including in 2017, 2018 and 2019. He went on to win the Cup Series championship in 2019.
