Dave Chappelle is bringing his"Karmageddon" tour to Nashville this fall.
The award-winning comedian and actor has announced a seven-arena tour that includes a stop at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena. According to a news release, the Nashville show will kick off the tour in October.
The run wraps Nov. 6 at Madison Square Garden, where Chappelle will headline the opening night of the New York Comedy Festival.
"Dave is one of the defining comedians of his generation and, without question, one of the greatest stand-up comedians of all time," said New York Comedy Festival founder and owner Caroline Hirsch in a statement. "To have Dave close out his tour by opening our festival is spectacular."

is notable for comedy fans because Chappelle remains one of the hardest major performers to see live. AsUSA TODAYpreviously reported, he played just five U.S. arena shows on his "Pulling Up" tour earlier this year, making stops in Baltimore, Detroit, Cleveland, Chicago and San Diego.
