The preseason's over. Let's finish this off with unit-by-unit grades spanning the entire Tennessee Titans training camp run.
We're going to break this up into five buckets: the starting offense, the starting defense, the reserve offense, the reserve defense and special teams. Coming off the Titans' preseason-ending loss to the Chicago Bears

Titans starting offense: C
Cam Ward and company didn't have the strongest showings in their preseason games, dragging the grade down, but they salvaged a pretty solid showing in joint practices against Seattle and Chicago. The run game looks physical. The right guard competition resolved itself pretty quickly. The depth at receiver is impressive. The base offense seems
to work, but the big plays aren't happening with enough regularity and the pass protection is still untested at best.
Titans reserve offense: C-
Start with the good: Nick Singleton looks like he can develop into a proper NFL back in short time. And the depth on the interior offensive line is pretty stout. But the questions at swing tackle are still unanswered, and, most crucially, the offense just couldn't move the ball with backups in the field throughout the preseason.
Titans starting defense: C+
This grade is heavily influenced by the potential and upside seen in practice, because if we were going off just the preseason games, the grade would be much lower. But remember: For as bad as the secondary has looked, the run defense has looked inversely good. Let's see what happens when the games start processing in full speed.
Titans backup defense: B
Good depth. The preseason games have been pretty consistent stone walls in the second halves. The sheer numbers in the rooms at linebacker, defensive line and safety are worth a higher grade alone.
Titans special teams: A
John Fassel's unit looks good. Joey Slye's on fire. Tommy Townsend's punt hang-time is real impressive. And Chimere Dike's so valuable as a return man the Titans have barely worked him this camp. Should be a strength of the team.
