Wawa debuted its first Tennessee location this summer and is expanding quickly.
Founded in Pennsylvania in 1964, the gas station and market is a longstanding East Coast favorite pit stop. Now the company has confirmed grand opening dates for three new Middle Tennessee stores that have been under construction in Dickson, Lebanon and Murfreesboro.
The coming Wawa locations and opening dates are:
- Dickson: To open at Aug. 26 at 2424 Tennessee 46 South
- Lebanon: Opening Sept. 2 at 1000 Murfreesboro Road
- Murfreesboro: Sept. 10 opening at 5208 Veterans Parkway
Each new store plans a ribbon cutting ceremony at 8:30 a.m. on the days they open.
Wawa opened its first Tennessee store in Clarksville in June with plans to open 50 locations in the state in the next 10 years.
Stores will employ about 35 workers each. The company estimates to ultimately hire for 1,750 jobs in the state.

The brand known for its made-to-order
hoagies, Sizzli breakfast sandwiches and a signature coffee is also working through the permitting and approval process to potentially build a second store on South Hartmann Drive in Lebanon, the company has said.
More stores are also in different stages of development that include the Bellevue area, Gallatin and more.
