Two students reported being injured after a car slid into the back of a school bus in Antioch, authorities said.
Ten students were on the bus, headed to JFK Middle School, when a car rear-ended the vehicle near Arrogate Drive and Mt. View Road before 9 a.m. Sept. 23.
"Initial reports indicate that two students reported minor injuries and one is being transported for further medical evaluation," a spokesperson for Metro Nashville Public Schools said. "The remaining students will be transported back to school and parents are being notified of the incident."
Metro Nashville Police said it appeared that slick roads caused the car to slide into the back of the bus. The driver did not appear impaired, police said.
