The Williamson County Performing Arts Center will host a Johnny Cash tribute concert on Oct. 3.
The Tennessee Four, featuring Thomas Gabriel, will perform Cash's hits.
Gabriel, Cash’s grandson, brings a unique perspective to the show. He grew up traveling with his grandfather, which strongly influenced his musical style.
Joining Gabriel are musicians who have worked closely with Cash. Guitarist Kerry Marx toured with Cash for five years, while bassist Dennis Crouch played on Cash’s final two albums, including his last recording, “Engine 143.” Drummer Paul Leim also performed with Cash on television specials and recordings.
The concert will take place at the Williamson County Performing Arts Center, located at 112 Everbright Ave. in Franklin. Tickets
are priced at $30 for adults and $27.50 for students and seniors aged 55 and older. A limited number of VIP Experience tickets are available for $45. These tickets include seating in the first two rows, a post-show meet-and-greet with the band, a photo opportunity, and a signed poster, according to the announcement.
