Vanderbilt baseball's SEC schedule has been released for the 2027 season, the conference announced in a release Sept. 8.
The Commodores will face Ole Miss, Kentucky, Mississippi State, Florida and Auburn at home and will face South Carolina, LSU, Georgia, Texas and Tennessee on the road.
They will not face Arkansas, Missouri, Alabama, Texas A&M or Oklahoma.
The nonconference schedule will be announced at a later date, but Vanderbilt has already been announced as a participant in two early-season tournaments: the Surprise College Baseball Series in Arizona from Feb. 19-21 against Nebraska, Oregon State and UC Santa Barbara; and the Nashville College Baseball Series from March 5-7 at First Horizon Park against Cincinnati, Ohio State and Virginia
Tech.
The Commodores missed the NCAA tournament in 2026 for the first time since 2005. In the offseason, Vanderbilt returned several top hitters, including Brodie Johnston, Ryker Waite and Tommy Goodin, and brought in several highly-rated transfers, including Bud Coombs, Matt Conte and Shane Brinham. The Commodores also have a top-rated freshman class led by Gunner Skelton, James Tronstein, Joseph Contreras and Bo Holloway
