ESPN announced their broadcast schedule for the 2026-27 NHL season on Aug. 26 and the Nashville Predators will be featured in three games.
After the Predators open the regular season on Oct. 1 against the Minnesota Wild at Bridgestone Arena, their first nationally televised game will take place on Nov. 5 at Colorado.
Here's the Predators' full nationally televised schedule, all of which will broadcast on ESPN+:
- Nov. 5 @ Colorado Avalanche (8:30 p.m. CT, ESPN+)
- Nov. 10 @ Los Angeles Kings (9 p.m. CT, ESPN+)
- Jan. 5 vs Edmonton Oilers (6:30 p.m. CT, ESPN+)
All other Predators games will be broadcast locally on WNPX (Channel 28) a channel called "The Spot." According to its website, the channel is also available on cable and satellite services like DirectTV and Xfinity.
On Aug. 26, the Predators announced a multi-year agreement with streaming platform ViewLift. ViewLift will carry all non-nationally
televised Predators games starting this season on a direct-to-consumer platform, available on the web, iOS, Android, Apple TV, Roku TV, Fire TV, and Android TV. Pricing and streaming plans for this new service will be announced at a later date.
ESPN acquired NHL national broadcast rights, including rights for all Stanley Cup Playoff games beyond the first round, ahead of the 2021-22 season with all games on ABC, ESPN, ESPN+, Hulu, or Disney+. Their broadcast license runs through the 2027-28 season.
