A
woman has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of a man at Cherokee Marina in Wilson County on Aug. 14, according to police officials.
Jeaneen Boyas, 55, was taken into custody on Aug. 20, and held in the Wilson County Jail on a $500,000 bond.
The victim was identified as Robert Mallen, 64. Police said he was shot and believe the death may be related to a domestic dispute.
The Wilson County Sheriff’s Office took custody of Boyas in Coffee County with the assistance of the Coffee County Sheriff’s Office and the Tullahoma Police Department.
The investigation is ongoing and police did not release further information.
