SEVIERVILLE ― The 2026 TSSAA golf season concluded by crowning the winners of Class AA and Division II-AA boys and girls competition at Sevierville Golf Course on Oct. 9.
Page boys brought fireworks as a pair of Patriots teammates settled the individual Class AA state championship in two playoff holes while the team cruised to the AA title. Page's girls finished state runners-up behind Ooltewah.
Memphis University School claimed captured the Division II-AA boys crown, and Baylor held off Harpeth Hall to win in DII-AA girls.
Page teammates square off to settle boys Class AA championship
Senior Jack Eickhoff and junior Reid Bostelman made sure Page would claim the program's first TSSAA golf championship by finishing
in a tie atop the leaderboard after 18 holes on Oct. 9, shooting 139s.
But it was Eickhoff who captured the individual state title, beating Bostelman in a playoff. Eickhoff birdied the second playoff hole to claim the title. Eickhoff, who led after the first day with a 68, finished 5-under par (139). Bostelman mounted a furious comeback on the second day, shooting 6-under, 66, the lowest round in the two days of Class AA competition.
Patriots dominate boys team competition for first title
Page lapped the field with a final score of 11-under (565). It finished 41 strokes ahead of Houston in second place while Science Hill finished third (611).
It's the first team state championship for the Patriots who finished runner-up in 2022. Carson Jenkins finished tied for fifth (142) while Brayden Bennett tied for 12th (145).
MUS boys duo finishes 1-2, Owls claim DII-AA title
A pair of elite golfers from the Memphis area drove their team to the overall victory in DII-AA. Seniors Brantley Moore and Drew Knighton secured the top two spots to lead MUS to the program's eighth overall TSSAA championship. The Owls ended seven strokes ahead of Ensworth an 11-under (565).
Moore repeated as the state champion with the lowest overall score in the tournament across all classes. He notched 68 on both days to end with an 8-under (136), one stroke better than Franklin Road Academy's Walker Webb, who captured the DII-A state crown on Oct. 6.
Knighton tied with Christian Brothers' Patrick Gatti for second place. Both matched each other with a 70 on both days of competition and finished 4-under (140).
MUS also had senior Charles Snider tie for fourth, sophomore Jack Faber tie in 20th and sophomore Harris Laughlin tie for 25th to round out their state title team.

Dickson County's Poppy Pewitt repeats as girls' Class AA champ
In 2025, Dickson County's Poppy Pewitt won the Class AA girls state title with an even par (140). A year later, the junior and individual competitor improved that score by a single stroke.
Pewitt shot a 1-under, 139, to repeat as the state champion and finished two strokes ahead of Ooltewah's Alli Troxell. Troxell helped Ooltewah defeat Page in Class AA with a team score of 12-over (292).
Hardin Valley took third as a team with a 312.
