A Tennessee company is celebrating its own holiday with a free treat this August.
The ICEE Company, which is headquartered in La Vergne, Tennessee, is partnering with several chains to celebrate National ICEE Day this year.
“For decades, ICEE has been part of unforgettable moments for millions of fans, and National ICEE Day is our way of thanking everyone who has made the brand part of those memories," said Dan Fachner, president and CEO of J&J Snack Foods, ICEE's parent company.
Fans can celebrate National ICEE Day and enter with the chance to win exciting prizes such as ICEE merch and an at-home ICEE Machine by visiting a participating location to grab your free ICEE, share an Instagram or Facebook story featuring your free ICEE on Aug. 18 and use

Where to get a free ICEE for National ICEE Day?
Several companies across Tennessee are offering a free ICEE on Aug. 18 to celebrate the holiday.
Here's where to get them and if there are any requirements:
- AMC Theatres: To redeem, become an AMC Stubs member and register for your small free ICEE in your account.
- Krystal: No Purchase necessary to redeem. Receive a small free ICEE on Aug. 18, while supplies last.
- Regal Cinemas: Join the Regal Crown Club for free and see any movie on Aug. 18, to receive a free small ICEE. Redeem the offer at any Regal concession stand while supplies last.
- Santikos Entertainment: To redeem, visit a participating Santikos Entertainment location on Aug. 18. The first 250 guests at each location will receive a small free ICEE while supplies last.
- Urban Air Adventure Park: To redeem, purchase paid admission at a participating Urban Air Adventure Park on Aug. 18, and receive a small free ICEE while supplies last.
- Walmart Fuel and Convenience Stores: No Purchase necessary to redeem. Receive a small free ICEE on Aug. 18, while supplies last.
What is an ICEE?
The ICEE machine is really a complex frozen drink “manufacturing plant.” Specially formulated ICEE flavor concentrate is automatically mixed in exact amounts with water and CO2 gas. It is then frozen under pressure, creating the original, world-famous carbonated beverage in a soft, “fluffy” texture.
How many ICEE flavors are there?
Since its inception, ICEE has created more than 150 unique flavors! ICEE boasts that it offers over 30 flavors at any given time.
Not all locations will have 30 flavors, so it is best to be open-minded when grabbing a free drink for National ICEE Day.
