Ryan Blaney and Carson Hocevar made late contact in the NASCAR Bristol night race on Sept. 19, leading to Blaney crashing out of the race.
They also made post-race contact after a pit-road fight.
Blaney walked up to Hocevar after the race on pit road and pushed the driver. Hocevar swung a couple right hands while holding Blaney in a chokehold with his left hand.
Hocevar connected on at least one of those right-hand punches to Blaney's face.
Blaney fell behind a couple Hocevar pit crew members, then again went toward Hocevar for some more pushing and shoving. Blaney also threw a punch or two on the second wave.

Hocevar and Blaney made contact
on Lap 457, with Hocevar making an aggressive move to the inside. Blaney spun as a result of the contact, hitting the wall and ending his night early.
Hocevar finished third, while Blaney ended up 33rd with the DNF.
The scene was electric at Bristol after the checkered flag, with a large group booing race winner Joey Logano as he celebrated at the finish line while cheering Hocevar and Blaney's scrap.
Bass Pro Shops Night Race grand marshal Brad Pitt couldn't have written a more apt script for Bristol.
