The
TSSAA released its finalized classifications for the 2027-29 cycle on Oct. 5 and a handful of football programs have made some moves.
Here are the Division I and Division II football programs that moved up or down in classification, or will play a non-region schedule for the next two seasons.
Division I programs moving up in classification
- Westmoreland (3A from 2A)
- Fayette-Ware (4A from 3A)
- Kirby (4A from 3A)
- Glencliff (4A from non-region)
