Here are the Tennessee high school football top performers from the Nashville area after Week 1 on Aug. 21.
Chase Bell, Blackman: Bell completed 14-of-22 for 194 yards while adding a 10-yard touchdown run in a 29-10 win over Clarksville.
Brycen Mitchell, Blackman: Mitchell had eight receptions for 75 yards.
Micah Nance, Blackman: Nance carried 14 times for 121 yards, including a 39-yard touchdown run.
Tristan Thornton, Blackman: Thornton had a 40-yard punt return for a touchdown and added a one-yard touchdown run.
Max Wilcox, Blackman: Wilcox had five receptions for 82 yards.
Lex Baskin, Brentwood Academy: Baskin caught four passes for 111 yards and a touchdown, including a 67-yard TD pass from Crew Jenkins, in a 38-20 loss to Baylor.

Brentwood Academy: Bowman caught an 80-yard TD pass from Crews Jenkins and finished with 110 receiving yards and a TD.
Crews Jenkins, Brentwood Academy: Jenkins completed 11-of-16 passing for 244 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for 12 yards on two carries.
Luke Austin, Cheatham County: Austin rushed for 110 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries in a 42-21 loss to Cascade.
Walker Hobbs, Cheatham County: Hobbs had 19 carries for 129 yards and a touchdown.
Ahavre Galbreath, Clarksville: Galbreath had 23 carries for 85 yards and a touchdown in a 29-10 loss to Blackman.
Cameron Fitzpatrick, Cornersville: Fitzpatrick made six catches for 155 yards and a touchdown in a 43-8 win over Loretto.
Jackson Smith, Cornersville: Smith was 12-of-14 passing for 223 yards and a touchdown.
Brett Herrington, Eagleville: Herrington made nine tackles and blocked a punt for the defense in a 24-9 loss to Providence Christian Academy.
Cason Moore, Eagleville: Moore added nine tackles.
Issac Prince, East Robertson: Prince had 33 carries for 241 yards and three touchdowns in a 28-21 win over Liberty Creek.
Kason Young, East Robertson: Young completed 10-of-17 passing for 151 yards and a touchdown and had 10 carries for 108 yards.
EJ Gibson, Ensworth: Gibson had 213 rushing yards on 31 carries in a 24-8 win over Whitehaven.
Isaac Burgos, Fairview: Burgos completed 6-of-13 passing for 137 yards and two touchdowns in a 21-7 win over East Hickman.
Julius Carter, Fairview: Carter had 13 carries for 114 yards.
Quincy Mitchell, Forrest: Mitchell had 11 carries for 200 yards and three touchdowns, including an 84-yard TD run, in a 42-8 win over Creek Wood.
Micah Morgan, Forrest: Morgan was 8-of-10 passing for 117 yards.
Mello Armstrong, FRA: Armstrong had an 80-yard interception return for a touchdown in a 56-14 win over South Gibson.
Kwadir Fletcher, FRA: Fletcher rushed for 101 yards and three TDs.
Omarii Sanders, FRA: Sanders returned a kickoff 98 yards for a TD.
Tate Rumney, Hendersonville: Rumney ran for 125 yards on 19 carries and caught two passed for 17 yards in a 28-24 loss to Gallatin.
Brandon Smith, Hillsboro: Smith had 12 carries for 162 yards and a touchdown in a 14-7 win over Kenwood.
Nate Dye, Lebanon: Dye was 9-of-13 passing for 100 yards in a 21-14 loss to Nolensville.
Kaleb Groomes, Lipscomb Academy: Groomes made ten tackles in a 27-24 loss to McCallie.
Jaxson Spencer, Lipscomb Academy: Spencer caught four passes for 98 yards and two touchdowns.
Turner White, Lipscomb Academy: White was 20-of-30 passing for 190 yards with two touchdowns and an interception.
Gavin Shrader, Marshall County: Shrader completed 18-of-28 passing for 259 yards and two touchdowns and had six carries for 30 yards and a TD in a 35-34 loss to Lincoln County.
Kendrick Tears, Marshall County: Tears made nine catches for 171 yards and two TDs.
Alie Bangura, MTCS: Bangura rushed for 143 yards and three touchdowns on 13 carries in a 47-12 win over Ezell-Harding.
Judah Jansen, MTCS: Jansen made six tackles, including one for a loss, and caught one interception.
Cooper Youell, MTCS: Youell had six carries for 135 yards and a touchdown.
Jahkai Amos, Mt. Pleasant: Amos made eight catches for 137 yards in a 42-41 win over Battle Creek.
Jaylen Easterling, Mt. Pleasant: Easterling had seven catches for 98 yards and three TDs.
Kale Scott, Mt. Pleasant: Scott was 25-of-32 passing for 320 yards and a touchdown.
Tate Mathis, Nashville Christian: Mathis was 13-of-22 passing for 172 yards and three touchdowns and three carries for 51 yards and a TD in a 34-7 win over Davidson Academy.
Tristen Lithmexay, Nolensville: Lithmexay rushed for 93 yards and two touchdowns on 16 carries in a 21-14 win over Lebanon.
Ryan Newell, Nolensville: Newell had 13 carries for 98 yards and was 6-of-14 passing for 55 yards and a touchdown.
Cameron Kruse, Page: Kruse was 11-of-20 passing for 172 yards and four touchdowns in a 48-14 win over Giles County.
Isaac Otey, Page: Otey had 19 carries for 204 yards and a touchdown.

Jermaine Cobbins, Springfield: Cobbins made three catches for 142 yards and touchdown in a 35-3 win over Rossview.
Kason Woodson, Springfield: Woodson completed 6-of-9 passing for 189 yards and a touchdown.
Amiron Leavell, Springfield: Leavell had seven carries for 105 yards and three TDs.
Jude Fitzpatrick, Upperman: Fitzpatrick had 24 carries for 138 yards and two touchdowns in a 21-20 win over Knoxville Webb.
Gavin Frazier, Upperman: Frazier had 113 yards on 15 carries.
Carmelo Davis, Watertown: Davis had 11 catches for 136 yards and a touchdown and one carry for 30 yards and a TD in a 28-7 win over Smith County
Garrett Davis, Watertown: Davis had 17 carries for 88 yards and was 7-of-11 passing for 57 yards. Davis also made two catches for 18 yards and had two total TDs.
