This is the final week for teams in the Tennessee High School Football Super 25 rankings to take a deep breath. The homestretch of the TSSAA football regular season is fast approaching.
With some teams on fall break and others without big tests on the high school football field, this may be the leanest week of games that will potential force big mix up in the rankings, barring significant upsets.
There are no matchups involving ranked opponents. Four teams in the top 10 have off weeks. The other six will be significant favorites. The biggest game in the state may be No. 11 Knoxville Catholic (6-1) at McCallie (3-4) The Blue Tornado's losses include two to out of state foes and a 49-7 loss to Chattanooga rival Baylor.
