The end of Stage 1 in the Charlotte NASCAR race ended with a crash involving Bubba Wallace, Alex Bowman and William Byron.
After the wreck, Wallace got out of his car and walked to an ambulance on his own power. Wallace was evaluated and released from the infield care center and returned to the garage.
The crash started when Bowman, on the bottom of the track, got loose and headed to the top, where he hit Wallace, knocking Wallace into the wall. Byron then hit Bowman. Wallace was hit again as his car skidded down the track.
All three cars suffered major damage.
