The Tennessean released its top TSSAA girls soccer players to watch entering the 2026 season.

We took a select few from our top players list and nominated them for the Ponce Law 2026 Preseason TSSAA Girls Soccer Player of the Year. Vote for your favorite choice in the poll below.

Ashlan Alexander, Battle Creek, So.: The attacking midfielder had 24 goals with 10 assists last season.
Aubrey Sons, Beech, Sr.: Son was brilliant in goal last year with 217
saves as a junior. She ranked first in saves in District 12-AAA and fourth in the state.
Lilian Wittwer, BGA, Jr. The midfielder had 25 goals, six assists and was the Middle Region Offensive POY and named all state.
Caroline Jones, Brentwood, Sr.: The center back returns after leading the Bruins back line in 2025.
Arianna Guess, Cane Ridge, Jr.: Guess had 87 saves in goal while providing three goals and four assists.
Sara Mann, Clarksville, Jr.: The Lady Wildcats forward had 12 goals and three assists last season.
Livi Langan, CPA, Sr.: The Mississippi State commit scored 21 goals and 10 assists and was named DII-AA Middle Region MVP.
Maggie Bosworth, DCA, Sr.: Bosworth led DCA with 36 goals and 12 assists as a forward.
Elle Hutcheson, Ensworth, Sr.: The Ensworth midfielder had six goals and an assist.
Scout Akens, Fairview, Jr.: Akens moved between striker in the middle of Fairview's attack to the wing and had 12 goals and 15 assists.
Gigi Lewis, Father Ryan, Jr.: Lewis, a midfielder, was named all region after collecting eight goals with five assists.
Aubry Gates, Franklin, Sr.: The Kansas State commit and forward had 36 goals and 12 assists leading Franklin to the Class AAA state semifinals.
Mary Ann Lee, FRA, Sr.: Lee has 38 goals in the past two seasons, including 20 goals and 10 assists in 2025.
Baeliy Stalnecker, Forrest, Jr.: The attacking midfielder was a scoring machine in 2025 with 46 goals and three assists and was named District 9-A MVP.
Hannah Stainbrook, Hume-Fogg, Jr.: The Hume-Fogg goalie had 244 saves in 20 games last season.
Sidnie Cornish, Lebanon, Sr.: Cornish finished with 23 goals and six assists.
Addie Medina, Liberty Creek, Sr.: Medina was named to the TSWA All-State team after finishing her junior season with 24 goals and 17 assists.
Josie Holland, Lipscomb Academy, Sr.: The center mid had 15 goals and four assists last season while guiding the Lady Mustangs to the first round of the DII-AA state tournament.
Gabby Cruz, Merrol Hyde, Jr.: Cruz led Merrol Hyde with 36 goals and 14 assists and was named all state.
Madelyn Wajda, Clarksville Northwest, Sr.: Wadjda was the Lady Vikings' leading scorer with 13 goals and eight assists and is committed to Columbia State.
Elizabeth Campbell, Providence Christian, Jr.: Campbell, a forward, led PCA last season with 14 goals and was named all-district.
Tatum Hartshorn, Ravenwood, Jr: The forward finished 2025 with 10 goals, three assists and was named all-district.
Tori Merriman, Riverdale, Sr.: Merriman was named District 8-AAA Defensive Player of the Year.
Aubrey Spain, Smith County, Sr.: The striker led Smith County with 25 goals and two assists.
Emma Wood, Station Camp, Sr.: Wood, a midfielder, had 16 goals and 10 assists for the Lady Bison and was named all state.
Taylor Genova, Stewarts Creek, Sr.: Genova had 11 goals, three assists and was named District 7-AAA Tournament Offensive MVP last season.
Summer Riley, Summit, Sr.: The Florida commit was The Tennessean's 2025 Girls Soccer Player of the Year after finishing the season with 43 goals, nine assists and was named District 10-AAA Player of the Year.
Brindley Duncan, Tullahoma, Sr.: Duncan, a midfielder, scored 19 goals and had 14 assists.
Anne Marie Beard, Webb School - Bell Buckle, Jr.: As a sophomore last year, Beard had 20 goals and was named all-district.
