Lebanon City Attorney Andy Wright is serving a four-week suspension due to performance through the end of July, city documents state.
Wright’s suspension without pay review was levied by Lebanon Mayor Rick Bell according to a “Hearing Decision Letter” dated June 30.
“Your poor communication and poor responsiveness, coupled with low productivity are negatively impacting city operations and the ability of the legal department to appropriately support the city council and other departments who rely on your legal guidance to serve the public,” the decision letter states.
Efforts to reach Wright were unsuccessful.
Bell did not comment on the suspension.
The letter states Wright’s performance was also addressed in October 2025.
Wright’s suspension is being
served July 6 through July 31 and he’s scheduled to return to work Aug. 3, the decision letter states.
