One of Tennessee high school football's top two-way linemen has announced his college commitment.
Franklin Road Academy's Keilan Neal will be headed to Oklahoma State and coach Eric Morris, he announced in an Oct. 17 social media post.
Neal is the state's No. 34-ranked recruit in the Class of 2027 and the No. 101-ranked defensive lineman nationally in the 247Sports Composite. His offer sheet included Kansas State, Tulane, Iowa State, North Carolina and Maryland, among others.
The 6-foot-2, 280-pounder made a visit to Stillwater the weekend of Oct. 10 as the Cowboys took down UCF 42-28.
Neal has been a standout on both sides of the ball for FRA, as the Panthers sit
at 5-3 through nine weeks of the Tennessee high school football season. Last season he was named to The Tennessean's All-Midstate Large Class First Team after recording 65 tackles, 14 for a loss and eight sacks. He also earned TSWA and TnFCA all-state honors with FRA finishing state runner up.
In May, Neal was crowned DII-A state champion in the shot put at the TSSAA track and field state championships.
