The Savannah Bananas are headed back to Nashville.
According to the team's 2027 schedule, the Savannah Bananas will bring the Banana Ball Championship, known as the Banana Bowl, to Nashville's new Nissan Stadium on Sept. 25, 2027. The team announced the event on Oct. 15.
Nashville has become a regular stop for the Bananas. The team played at First Horizon Park in June 2026 and at Nissan Stadium in 2025.
Unlike traditional baseball, Banana Ball features a faster-paced format with unique rules. More than a baseball game, the experience resembles a live entertainment show, with choreographed dances, player interactions and other on-field performances.
Here's what to know and how to get tickets.

How does Banana Ball work?
Banana Ball is a quirky reimagining of baseball. The game is known for encouraging fan participation and featuring dance routines.
While Banana Ball shares the spirit of the American pastime, it introduces its own unique rules: a foul ball caught by a fan counts as an out, walks are eliminated, and innings, not runs, determine the winner. Games last two hours rather than having no set time limit, and teams score by winning innings, not by scoring runs.
Trick plays are also encouraged.
Players arrive hours early in uniform to mingle with fans, sign autographs and dance, while pitchers often join the crowd after their time on the mound.
