A Nashville judge has granted Dolly Parton's longtime manager a restraining order against her nephew, Bryan Seaver, who is accused in a lawsuit of threatening those managing her business assets in an attempt to get money.
She's Alive LLC, a company created to assist in overseeing Parton's professional property trust, sued Seaver and his security company Sept. 22. Danny Nozell, Parton's former manager, was selected by Parton to run She's Alive, and Nozell said Seaver had sent him numerous threatening messages in recent weeks. Seaver also threatened to wreck Parton's brand relationships and businesses, according to the lawsuit.
Davidson County Chancellor I'Ashea Myles granted She's Alive a restraining order Sept. 23 ordering Seaver not to communicate
with and stay 1,000 feet away from any employees of She's Alive, as well as any of She's Alive's business relationships.
