Let's call it a trip down memory lane as the farewell season at Nissan Stadium begins.
Nissan Stadium, home of the Tennessee Titans for one more fall, played host to a Week 1 college football contest on Sept. 6 between ranked opponents Ole Miss and Louisville. And as one fan pointed out on social media, some of the souvenir cups handed out might've been relics of a past era of Titans football

In one instance, a fan shared a video of a souvenir cup emblazoned with images of quarterback Ryan Tannehill and running back Derrick Henry,
both of whom last played for the Titans in 2023. Tannehill's going on his third season out of the league, and Henry's entering into his third year with the Baltimore Ravens. The Titans, meanwhile, have hired two new head coaches and a new GM since Tannehill's and Henry's contracts expired.
The stadium where Tannehill and Henry starred as Titans is on its way out too. This fall will be the final season the team plays in its outdoor venue its called home since 1999, with the new, indoor Nissan Stadium scheduled to open in Feb. 2027 as the future home of the Titans and several marquee events, including an upcoming Super Bowl.
The 2026 Titans season begins at the existing Nissan Stadium on Sept. 13 when the Titans, sans Henry and Tannehill, host the New York Jets.
