A Lebanon woman was sentenced to 28 years and four months in prison for sex crimes involving children, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office of the Middle District of Tennessee.
Alisha Danielle Scudder was found guilty of conspiracy, four counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, sex trafficking of children, distribution of child pornography and sale of child pornography, a news release from the office said. Sentencing was July 27.
From approximately June 2019 through March 2022, Scudder produced child sexual abuse material involving two children who were younger than 14, court documents said.
Scudder is accused of transmitting the material over the internet to a co-conspirator in exchange for money.
The co-conspirator communicated with Scudder
through social media and messaging applications, requesting that she produce additional material and paid her for images and videos she transmitted.
The co-conspirator traveled from East Tennessee to the Middle District of Tennessee where additional child sexual abuse material was produced at least once, the news release said.
The investigation began in October 2022.
Scudder's prison sentence is followed by 10 years of supervised release.
“Scudder exploited two vulnerable children, produced child abuse material involving them, and accepted money in exchange for that material,” U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Tennessee Braden H. Boucek said in the news release.
