when Tyler Reddick was the hottest driver in NASCAR? He won three straight races to start the season and two more later in the year?
Well, Reddick's tough luck returned on Aug. 9 in the Iowa Corn 350.
Reddick crashed his No. 45 23XI Racing Toyota on Lap 4 of the NASCAR Iowa race when he went up the track and slammed into Erik Jones. Reddick got loose when his Toyota hit the bumps on a turn and collected Jones.
Reddick sustained heavy damage.
Reddick entered the NASCAR Iowa race second in points, 84 behind Cup Series leader Denny Hamlin.
