The 2027NASCAR Nashville raceat Nashville Superspeedway will take place on June 6, NASCAR announced on Aug. 26.
That means theCracker Barrel 400will be slightly later in the season than it was in 2026, when the Cup Series was run on May 31. The 2025 race did not end until near midnight due to a weather delay. Denny Hamlin won the 2025 race, holding off teammates Christopher Bell and Chase Briscoe.
The seventh annual NASCAR tripleheader weekend at Nashville Superspeedway will begin on June 4 with the Craftsman Truck Series Allegiance 200.
The NASCAR O'Reilly Series Sports Illustrated Resorts 250 will follow on June 5.
Race
times have not been announced.
Five of the six Cup races at Nashville Superspeedway have sold out.
"Nashville has proven itself as one of the most electric stops on the NASCAR schedule and our fans are the reason why," Nashville Superspeedway general manager Matt Greci said. "Selling out this race weekend has become the standard here. That kind of support is what drives us to keep raising the bar. We can't wait to bring the best of NASCAR back to Middle Tennessee in June 2027.
All six Cracker Barrel 400s have been run in a 31-day window, the earliest on May 31 in 2025 and the latest on June 30 in 2024.
It is not known which race in the season the Cracker Barrel 400 will be on the NASCAR Cup schedule since the schedule has not yet been announced in its entirety, including off weeks. It is known that the 2027 season will begin with the Clash at Daytona on Feb. 13, followed by the Daytona 500 on Feb. 21.
The Cup schedule will remain at 38 events.
FOX Sports (FOX, FS1) will have the first 14 Cup races again, followed by Prime with the next five, then five on TNT and the final 14 on USA Sports (USA, NBC).
