SANTA CLARA, Calif. ― It's time for the 2026 Tennessee Titans to take the field.
The Titans open their preseason slate on Aug. 13 with a game against the San Francisco 49ers at Levi's Stadium. Titans coach Robert Saleh didn't give a specific play count, but he declared that everyone on the team who's healthy will play in this preseason game, giving Titans fans an opportunity to see QB Cam Ward work with his new-look offense for the first time in live action and to see star DT Jeffery Simmons play alongside the Titans' revamped defense under Saleh's attack-first scheme.
Kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. CT and the game will be televised in Nashville on Channel 2 and nationally on NFL Network.
This is the first of three preseason matchups for the Titans,
who will return home for their following two matchups against the Seattle Seahawks and Chicago Bears. The Titans also competed against the 49ers in a joint practice on Aug. 11 prior to this preseason matchup, a practice where the 49ers appeared to come out on top.
