Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are officially co-parenting — a fluffy white pup.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end confirmed for the first time that the couple shares a Samoyed, showing off their four-legged family member in a new Tommy Hilfiger campaign released on Sept. 1.
And Kelce is clearly smitten.
"Are you kidding me?" Kelce told Vogue. "She lights up my day."
The Samoyed appears alongside Kelce in photos and videos taken at The Plaza Hotel in New York City, where the football star modeled pieces from Tommy Hilfiger's fall campaign.
According to Vogue, the Hilfiger creative team had been discussing adding a dog to the shoot when Kelce volunteered his own.
"We figured, why not her?" Kelce told the magazine. "She crushed it."
Kelce added that the
dog fit the Tommy Hilfiger aesthetic and said the images with her were among his favorites from the shoot.
So what's her name?
A mysterious white dog
During a February 2025 appearance on the "Fitz & Whit" podcast, Jason Kelce mentioned that his younger brother had gotten a puppy. He recalled returning to Travis Kelce's home months after admiring a pair of expensive green velvet couches and noticing one had been moved against a wall.
The reason, Jason said, was the puppy had chewed a hole in it.
More than a year later, fans got a look at the apparent culprit when Kelce was photographed on July 12 arriving at President Donald J. Trump International Airport in Palm Beach, Florida. The dog that appeared to be a Samoyed. Similar footage circulating earlier in the year, showing the same dog exiting one of Swift's vehicles with members of her security team.
At the time, neither Swift nor Kelce had publicly identified the dog, confirmed its breed or said whether they owned it together. Representatives for the couple did not respond to USA TODAY's requests for comment.
Is Kelce's dog named Wendy?
Fans spent weeks trying to solve the dog's name. Celebrity gossip account Deuxmoi previously claimed the Samoyed is named Wendy, possibly after Wendy Peffercorn, the lifeguard from the 1993 movie "The Sandlot." The claim has not been verified.
Forbes referenced the same speculation on Sept. 1, describing the dog in Kelce's Tommy Hilfiger campaign as his real-life Samoyed "rumored to be named Wendy."
Swift is already a pet parent to three cats, all named after fictional characters. Her Scottish Folds, Meredith Grey and Olivia Benson, are named after characters from "Grey's Anatomy" and "Law & Order: SVU," respectively. Her Ragdoll, Benjamin Button, is named after the title character from the 2008 Brad Pitt film.
