Football runs in the blood of the Streeter family.
From college coaches to high school athletes, the family lives and breathes football. Dylan Streeter, a wide receiver for Page, is no exception.
Streeter, a high school junior, already has several Division I offers. Hisolder brother Braden
is a junior quarterback at Delaware. Dylan spoke of "trying to live the dream" of chasing a college football career.
Dylan had 133 receiving yards and two touchdown's in Page's 34-3 victory over Hendersonville on Sept. 4 in Week 3. He has 220 receiving yards, with a long of 53 yards, on the season, and he is a steadily improving for defending Class 5A state champion Page (3-0).
"Everyone holds me up to a high standard and pushes me to be the best player that I
can possibly be," Streeter said.
Sports has been more than just motivation for Streeter, who has tremendous support from his family. His uncle, Brandon Streeter, is the quarterbacks coach at Georgia and has been in Dylan's corner, aiding in guidance and experience.
The connection between family and sport, is not just a routine for the Streeters; it is a history, wide and deep. The family passion has been passed down to Dylan, who said his faith and beliefs play a huge role in his life.
"Just playing for the Lord, and giving him all the glory," Dylan said. "He has blessed me with amazing talent."
It is clear Streeter has a variety of role models — and he is grateful for the massive leaps and bounds he has made to become a star athlete and person, on and off the field.
