It's time for the final joint practice of the 2026 NFL preseason here in Nashville, where the Tennessee Titans host the ascendant Chicago Bears as the third NFC contender the Titans have faced off against in three weeks.
The Titans are coming off joint practices in back-to-back weeks against the San Francisco 49ers and the Seattle Seahawks. The trip to San Francisco was a bit of a wake-up call, with the 49ers owning the practice fairly decisively. The Seahawks' trip to Nashville was more of a win for the Titans, who put together one of their most solid practices of the summer on a day where they arguably best the defending Super Bowl champs.
Now it's time for the Titans to take on the Bears, and the Titans still have plenty to prove. Both of the Titans'
preseason games have ended with wins, but they've also both left sour tastes for fans expecting to see more from first-string players competing exclusively against second- and third-string players from San Francisco and Seattle. In particular, the passing game has been inconsistent and the pass defense has been under fire for allowing too many completions.

That means it'll be the final time for players on the cusp of making the roster to make their cases for themselves. Keep an eye on how the Titans use skill players like RBs Julius Chestnut and Michael Carter, WRs Bryce Oliver, Xavier Restrepo and K.J. Osborn and TEs Kylen Granson and Joel Wilson, as well as defensive backs Erick Hallett, Kendell Brooks and Jerrick Reed II, as those are places where some of the most significant roster movement can take place.
Also worth watching: Is Brandon Crenshaw-Dickson in line to be the Titans' No. 3 offensive tackle? Is Cordell Volson a shoo-in to make the roster because of his experience, or will the Titans stick with the youthful upside of Jackson Slater?
