Police are looking for a man they say shot a coworker at a U-Haul store in West Nashville.
Officers were called to the Annex Avenue store just after 5 p.m. Aug. 4 and immediately began rendering aid to a 56-year-old man. He'd been hit multiple times by gunfire, police said in a statement early Aug. 5.
Once paramedics arrived, the man was rushed to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He did not survive, police said.
The department has not yet publicly identified the man as they work to notify his next of kin, the statement said.
Police are looking for one of the man's coworkers, the statement said. An argument between the two peoplpe "led to one of them pulling a pistol and shooting the other multiple times," the department said.
"The gunman fled
the business immediately after the shooting and has not been located," police said. "The investigation continues as to him."
