Nolensville Little League faces Florida today at 10 a.m. CT (ESPN) in a Southeast Regional elimination semifinal in Warner Robins, Georgia.
The winner will face Alabama at 2 p.m. Aug. 11 in the championship game with a trip on the line to the Little League World Series, which begins Aug. 19.
Nolensville defeated South Carolina 6-1 in an elimination game on Aug. 9. Julian Frazier had two more hits against South Carolina to run his tournament total to eight.
JB Carter allowed one run, five hits, zero walks and struck out three in six innings to help Nolensville reach this point.
Ethan Nance, Lincoln Franks, Max Kelley and Brady Packard each had a hit for Nolensville.
Nolensville was coming off a 13-1 victory against Georgia on Aug. 8. Nolensville lost
5-2 to Alabama earlier in the day in a second-round game.
Nolensville reached the Little League World Series three consecutive years starting in 2021. The 2022 team finished fourth in the world in 2022. A year later, the program made national headlines when it advanced, led by Stella Weaver.
