What is the story about?
The Tennessee Attorney General’s Office’s lawsuit against Meta, accusing the social media giant of addicting teenagers to Instagram, has settled for more than $700 million, Attorney General Jonathan Skrmetti said.
Skrmetti told The Tennessean of the settlement inside the Historic Metropolitan Courthouse in Nashville on Aug. 26.
The settlement will also require Meta to make changes to way that it operates Instagram.
