performed?
One Tennessee Republican has missed more votes than former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Another has yet to miss a vote.
Members of Congress cast hundreds of votes each month. Chamberwide, U.S. House members’ average attendance rate is 96.4% during this Congress, according to an analysis by the nonprofit Network for Voter Education. The U.S. Senate median vote attendance rate is 98%.
Here's how Tennessee's delegation has done during the 119th Congress.
U.S. Rep. Andy Ogles - 91.8%
U.S. Rep. Andy Ogles has the lowest score of Tennessee's delegation and is among the bottom 25 members of Congress for voting attendence. Representing Tennessee's 5th District, Ogles has cast 1,775 votes since being elected in 2022. He has a 91.8% attendance record, the 21st lowest attendance rate in Congress. He’s missed more votes than Nancy Pelosi.
U.S. Rep. John Rose - 94%
U.S. Rep. John Rose, representing District 6, has cast 3,695 votes during his years in Congress. His attendance record is 94%.
U.S. Sen. Marsha Blackburn - 95%
U.S. Sen. Marsha Blackburn has cast 13,910 votes during the course of her congressional career. Her voting attendance rate is 95% for the 2025-27 Congress.
U.S. Rep. Steve Cohen - 95%
U.S. Rep. Steve Cohen, who represents Memphis and is Tennessee's last remaining Democratic congressman, has cast 12,328 votes in his congressional career. Cohen has a 95% attendance rate for votes in the 119th Congress.
U.S. Rep. Scott DesJarlais - 95.6%
U.S. Rep. Scott DesJarlais, representing District 4, has cast 8,720 since his election in 2011. His attendance record is 95.6% this Congress.
U.S. Sen. Bill Hagerty - 96%

Tennessee's newest congressman U.S. Rep. Matt Van Epps has cast 330 votes since taking the oath of office in December. Matt Van Epps is one of the few members of Congress who has never yet missed a vote.
