Some of the Nashville area's top TSSAA football players had big nights as we finalized Week 3 on Sept. 4.
Here's a look at the top performers from Middle Tennessee.
Parker Cates, Brentwood: Cates had three catches for 106 yards and two touchdowns and had five carries for 42 yards and a TD in a 34-0 win over Summit.
Gavin Strang, Brentwood: Strang was 11-of-14 passing for 215 yards and four touchdowns.
Crews Jenkins, Brentwood Academy: Jenkins was 13-of-26 passing for 189 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions in a 31-23 loss to St. Joseph’s Prep (PA).
Walker Hobbs, Cheatham County: Hobbs rushed for 249 yards and a touchdown on 29 carries in a 35-21 loss to Stewart County.
Luke Holt, Collinwood: Holt was 5-of-11 passing for 62 yards and had
13 carries for 111 yards in a 24-0 win over Scotts Hill.
Hunter Montgomery, Collinwood: Montgomery was 3-for-3 on extra points and made an 18-yard field goal.
Noah Green, Davidson Academy: Green was 11-of-17 passing for 232 yards with one touchdown and one interception in a 33-15 win over Northwest.
Carson Scott, Davidson Academy: Scott had four carries for 113 yards.
Benton Fox, Eagleville: Fox completed 9-of-14 passing for 104 yards and had nine carries for 37 yards and two touchdowns in a 14-7 win over Tennessee Heat.
Brett Herrington, Eagleville: Herrington made five tackles, including two sacks.
Knox Smith, Eagleville: Smith led the defense with six tackles and one fumble recovery.
Lane Bruce, East Robertson: Bruce hauled in seven catches for 133 yards and two touchdowns in a 41-6 win over Jo Byrns.
Kason Young, East Robertson: Young was 18-of-26 passing for 294 yards and four touchdowns.
Quincy Mitchell, Forrest: Mitchell had 22 carries for 334 yards and five touchdowns and two catches for 104 yards and a touchdown in a 54-26 win over Mt. Pleasant.
Kwadir Fletcher, FRA: Fletcher had 19 carries for 102 yards and three touchdowns in a 40-36 loss to MBA.
Jack Nimitz, FRA: Nimitz was 16-of-28 passing for 215 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions.
Grayson DeGraff, Grace Christian: DeGraff had three catches for 92 yards in a 35-6 win over Okolona (MS).
Jeshua Fish, Grace Christian: Fish caught five passes for 104 yards and a touchdown.
Carter Pray, Grace Christian: Pray completed 16-of-18 passing for 293 yards and three touchdowns.
Joedon Bradley, Hillsboro: Bradley had two catches for 121 yards and a touchdown in a 52-40 loss to East Nashville.
Cameron Counts, Hillsboro: Counts completed 6-of-15 passing for 181 yards and a touchdown.
Roman Counts, Hillsboro: Counts made eight tackles and returned a rumble 78 yards for a touchdown.
Eric Thompson, Jr., Hillsboro: Thompson, Jr. made seven tackles, including two for a loss.
Myles Teague, Lipscomb Academy: Teague was 10-of-15 passing for 132 yards and a touchdown in a 21-20 loss to Knoxville Catholic.
Warner Hart, MBA: Hart had one catch for 86 yards and a touchdown in a win over FRA.
Henri Perry, MBA: Perry finished with two interceptions, four field goals, four PATs, a successful onside kick and a 14-yard run on a fake punt that helped MBA erase a 13-point second-half deficit.
Charlie Verner, MBA: Verner completed 10-of-23 passing for 197 yards with two touchdowns and one interception.
Marlo Nichols, MTCS: Nichols was 5-of-5 passing for 167 yards and a touchdown in a 47-7 win over Rock Hill (OH).
Cooper Youell, MTCS: Youell had three catches for 112 yards and six carries for 12 yards and a touchdown.
Jahkai Amos, Mt. Pleasant: Amos had three catches for 82 yards in a 54-26 loss to Forrest.
Jaylen Easterling, Mt. Pleasant: Easterling had six catches for 101 yards and a touchdown.
Hunter Holt, Mt. Pleasant: Holt rushed for 125 yards on 13 carries.
Kale Scott, Mt. Pleasant: Scott was 14-of-23 passing for 211 yards with two touchdowns and one interception.
Cameron Cruse, Page: Cruse was 12-of-17 passing for 241 yards and three touchdowns in a 34-3 win over Hendersonville.
Dylan Streeter, Page: Streeter caught three passes for 131 yards and two touchdowns.
AJ Jackson, Smyrna: Jackson completed 9-of-22 passing for 107 yards with one touchdown and one interception in a 22-21 win over Oakland.
Bryce Baldwin, Springfield: Baldwin had four catches for 85 yards and two touchdowns in a 56-0 win over Portland.
Preston Ramsey, Springfield: Ramsey was 10-of-15 passing for 107 yards and four touchdowns.
Nic Young, Springfield: Young made four tackles, including two for a loss, and had a forced fumble, a fumble recovery and one defensive TD.
