A small plane crash-landed in a Lebanon elementary school playground.
Lebanon police and other first responders were called to the Byars Dowdy Elementary School after the single-engine plane landed near the playground, the police department said in asocial media post Sept. 1.
While there were children at the school, none were on the playground at the time of the crash, police said. The pilot landed the plane without injury.

A photo of the scene, shared by the police department, showed the plane, surrounded by police and firefighters, sitting on the ground right-side up. It had a slight lean to it with the right wing resting on the ground.
"Emergency crews are on scene and working to secure the area," the department said. "We will provide additional
information as it becomes available."
