Right-handed pitcher Nate Teague is no longer on the Vanderbilt baseball team, a program spokesperson confirmed to The Tennessean.
Teague was not on a fall roster provided to The Tennessean for the Commodores’ first scrimmage Sept. 29.

Teague dealt with injuries throughout his Vanderbilt career. He did not pitch in either 2024 or 2025 due to injury, and he appeared in just four games in 2026 with a 12.00 ERA, five walks and three strikeouts across three innings.
Teague, who is an academic senior, did not enter the transfer portal during the June window. He could enter the portal during the December window but would not be able to transfer to another Division I school unless he has received
his degree already.
All other expected players were listed on the 44-player fall roster, which includes 20 returners and 24 newcomers (16 freshmen and eight transfers).
