Vanderbilt women's basketball released its full 2026-27 schedule Aug. 19, highlighted by a matchup with Iowa.
The Commodores will play 10 nonconference games at Memorial Gymnasium along with three neutral-site games − including a matchup with Belmont at Bridgestone Arena − and one road game.
Vanderbilt's season opener will take place Nov. 2 against Lipscomb.
There are three power-conference teams on the schedule: Iowa, Arizona and Notre Dame. The Commodores will face the Fighting Irish and Hannah Hidalgo in their SEC/ACC Challenge tilt that is a rematch of last season's Sweet 16 contest won by Notre Dame.
Vanderbilt should be one of the top teams in the SEC after returning last season's SEC Player of the Year, Mikayla Blakes, and SEC Freshman of the Year Aubrey
Galvan. Blakes is looking to become the first player to win back-to-back SEC Player of the Year awards since Aliyah Boston in 2021-22 and 2022-23.
