Ryan Blaney is on the pole for the Iowa Corn 350 NASCAR Cup Series race on Aug. 9 at Iowa Speedway.
Blaney ran a lap time of 23.474 seconds to beat Kyle Larson for the top spot. Brad Keselowski, however, was the story of qualifying. The RFK driver qualified for third on his first lap, but got loose and lost control of his car, spinning out and hitting his left rear against the right rear.
