Jameis Winston and Cam Skattebo haven't played on the field with each other much in the New York Giants' backfield, and it showed against the Tennessee Titans on Sept. 27 at MetLife Stadium.

Winston and Skattebo collided on a first-quarter handoff near their own goal line, with Skattebo lucky to stay out of the end zone after falling to the ground.

The Giants were also fortunate that the collision didn't produce a fumble in the wind and mist in New Jersey.

Winston is making his first start of the season for the Giants against the Titans, with Jaxson Dart out for the regular season after suffering a knee injury against the Rams last week.

Winston also made two starts for

the Giants last season, but Skattebo was out with injury.

Winston and Skattebo made an early connection through the air, with Skattebo securing a 30-yard reception to set up a Giants field goal on the team's second drive.

But Skattebo's day job is as a runner. And while the second-year back likes contact, he and his new quarterback should try to avoid that kind of physicality going forward.
