The Tennessee Titans were pushed around and run around in a 23-10 loss to the New York Jets on Sept. 13 in Nashville.
The Titans (0-1) had 195 total yards, with Cam Ward throwing for 140 yards on 19-of-32 passing.
Tennessee faces a step up in competition next week, with the Philadelphia Eagles coming to Nissan Stadium in Week 2.

Titans vs. Jets key moments
Titans continue 2025 trend of first-half drives stalling
The Titans offense had a positive opening drive, moving the ball for 12 plays and 41 yards.
But as often seen last year by the Cam Ward-led offense, especially in the first half with games still in doubt, the drive stalled near the opponent's 20-yard line.
Ward was sacked on first down,
then threw an incompletion on second down. A third-down checkdown resulted in a field goal attempt, a successful 42-yard field goal attempt by Joey Slye.
In a game where the Titans had limited drives in Jets territory, getting three instead of seven in the first quarter was the continuance of a trend from last year.
Titans misfire out of halftime
The Titans were only behind 10-3 at halftime despite a decided statistical edge to the Jets. But the score would soon reflect the play on the field.
Cam Ward and the Titans offense opened the third quarter by moving into Jets territory, but punted the ball away after a Ward overthrown pass targeting Elic Ayomanor on third down.
The Jets needed just five plays to go 80 yards and extend the lead to two scores, including a 31-yard reception by Garrett Wilson and a 40-yard catch by AD Mitchell.
The New York touchdown came on a goal-to-go play where the Titans defense had two players sprinting off the field before the snap, trying to avoid a too-many-men-on-the-field penalty. Breece Hall scored on a 4-yard run regardless, and the Jets led 17-3 with 25 minutes to play.

Cam Ward runs out of bounds on third down in Jets territory
The Titans entered Jets territory again in the third quarter after a couple positive runs by Tony Pollard.
But the drive again stalled, with Ward electing to run out of bounds for a loss on a 3rd and 8 dropback from the Jets' 42-yard line.
David Bailey, the Jets' top-pick at edge rusher, was credited with his first career sack.
A positive play would have set up either a Joey Slye field goal attempt or a fourth-down try. Instead, the Titans punted on 4th and 9 late in the third quarter, down 20-3.
