The Vanderbilt Commodores football team has started the season with a successful 3-1 record, and on top of that, the university was recently ranked among the top 25 campuses in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS).

Niche, a college-ranking and review website, recently released its 2027 "Best College Campuses in America" list based on statistics and student reviews using data from theU.S. Department of Education. "Top-ranked colleges offer outstanding campus resources across classrooms, labs, performance venues, housing, food, and recreational facilities," Niche's website states.

Of the seven SEC schools listed in the top 25, Vanderbilt landed at No. 7 and No. 13 among FBS schools.

Based on the compiled reviews and data, Niche scored Vanderbilt's

campus with an "A" grade and its athletic programs with an "A-."

The university received "A+" grades in academics, diversity, professors, location, student life, future readiness and partying.

The majority of reviews on Niche mentioned Vanderbilt's rigorous academics, supportive community and vibrant nightlife, while many reviewers also praised the beautiful and dynamic campus.

"Vanderbilt epitomizes the 'work hard, play hard' ethos. It’s a school of dualities: a picturesque, collegiate campus in the heart of a vibrant city," an alum wrote on Niche.

"Collaborative environment with world-class professors, a gorgeous campus, and an abundance of infrastructure for innovation," another wrote.

"Challenging, but the campus and city life are very fun and offer a variety of things to get involved in," a current student said in their review.

"The campus is a vibrant hub of diversity, where students from all walks of life come together to share ideas and pursue their passions," another student added.
