The NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway has been postponed to Oct. 11, the track announced.
The Blue Cross NC 300 is now scheduled for 8 p.m. Eastern/7 p.m. Central, after the Cup Series race.
Rain forced a complete wash out of Oct. 10 on-track action, with practice and qualifying for the Cup Series and the O'Reilly Auto Parts Series all canceled.
Carson Kvapil will be on the pole when the race goes green after the lineup was set by the rule book metric.
The National Weather Service forecast for Oct. 11 calls for rain chances to taper off by mid afternoon, allowing a window for both races to be completed.
