Vanderbilt football quarterback Jared Curtis is day-to-day, coach Clark Lea said.
Curtis was able to practice Oct. 6 without much limitation, Lea said. Lea said that Curtis would still be listed on the injury report.
Curtis, the 5-star freshman quarterback, suffered an undisclosed injury against Auburn. He was listed as a game-time decision against Georgia but ultimately did not play after the coaching staff didn't like how he looked in warmups. Vanderbilt lost to Georgia, 38-14, with Blaze Berlowitz starting the game. Curtis was still listed atop the depth chart distributed to media Oct. 6.
Vanderbilt (3-2, 0-2 SEC) will face No. 11 Ole Miss (3-1, 1-1) at FirstBank Stadium on Oct. 10 (2:30 p.m. CT, ESPN).
Curtis has appeared in four games, with
two starts. He is 63-for-98 passing for 746 yards and four touchdowns, and he's added on 41 rushing attempts for 133 yards.
Berlowitz has appeared in three games at quarterback with two starts. (He also appeared at wide receiver against Auburn.) He is 26-for-48 for 368 yards and a touchdown passing and has 21 rush attempts for 87 yards.
