The Titans and Jets are each coming off of 3-14 seasons in 2025. Tennessee fired its coach midseason and hired Robert Saleh in January, while Aaron Glenn returned for his second season as head coach of the Jets.
Cam Ward opens his second NFL season with a new group of skill players, including first-round pick Carnell Tate and free-agent acquisition Wan'Dale Robinson at receiver.
The Titans' revamped defense will be tested by Jets quarterback Geno Smith, making his return to the franchise he was drafted by in 2013, receiver Garrett Wilson and running back Breece Hall.
