Lainey Wilson will host this year's CMA Awards for the third straight year and second consecutive year as the solo host.
Wilson joined the set of ESPN's "College GameDay" on Sept. 5 and made the announcement.
“I couldn't be more excited to be hosting the CMA Awards again this year, especially with it being the 60th anniversary,” Wilson said in a news release from CMA Communications. “I’ve had so much fun hosting the last two years, and this one's going to be extra special. Can't wait to see y'all in November!”
The CMA Awards show is scheduled for 7 p.m. Nov. 18 at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena. It will air on ABC.
CMA will announce nominees on ABC's "Good Morning America,” then via livestream on CMA's official YouTube channel on Sept. 10.

The live announcement on "College GameDay" was in conjunction with that show's 500th show, at Louisiana State University in Wilson's home state.
