NASCAR Daytona qualifying results, Ross Chastain on Cup Series pole as starting lineup set

Ross Chastain is on the pole for the Coke Zero Sugar 400 NASCAR Cup Series race on Aug. 29 at Daytona.

Chastain's lap of 48.808 seconds in the second round of qualifying was a half-tenth faster than Chris Buescher for the top spot.

Austin Cindric (starting eighth) and Shane van Gisbergen (sixth) aim to hold on to the final two Chase spots in the regular-season finale, while Ryan Preece (fourth) has to make up a 31-point gap to SVG or a 44-point gap to Cindric.
