Vanderbilt baseball has begun earning commitments in its 2028 class.
In baseball, the heaviest recruiting season is during the fall, as recruits typically visit for football weekends. The Commodores generally land the bulk of their commits in October and November, though commitments do continue to trickle out through the spring and summer.
Players can begin committing on Aug. 1 of their junior year of high school. The initial signing period for the 2028 class will take place in November 2027, but players can continue to sign up until the deadline to enroll in classes for the fall semester.

RHP Liam Laffin
Hometown / School: North Haven, Connecticut / Lyman Hall
Perfect Game ranking: Top 1000
Laffin committed Sept. 6. The 6-foot, 190-pounder has a fastball that has topped at 93 mph and attended a Vanderbilt camp over the summer.
