Arrests have been made in connection to the death of a 55-year-old Delaware County woman, the county's sheriff's office said.
Just after midnight Aug. 14, a man called 911 from his home on Bean Oller Road and said his wife, Tamela D. Dutcher, had been shot, according to the Delaware County Sheriff's Office. Medics took Dutcher to a local hospital, where she died several hours later.
Around 5:25 p.m., detectives executed a search warrant in Delaware and took two people, Dajameous Payne, 21, and Christian Evans, 20, both of Delaware, into custody, the sheriff's office said. Both are expected to be charged with murder in connection with Dutcher's death.
The sheriff's office also arrested the Dutcher's 18-year-old daughter and anticipate charging her with
felony obstruction of justice. Details were not immediately available about the allegations against the teen.
Payne and Evans are expected to have their first appearances on Aug. 17 in Delaware County Common Pleas Court.
