Criminals first
Voters might as well have elected criminals to run (or ruin) city council and to be mayor. Pausing the Flock program gives criminals the freedom to commit crimes. Criminals know that.

Andrew Ginther has jumped on board to pause Flock cameras. (He wants to keep his job.) City Council President Shannon Hardin, who wants to be the next mayor, along with several council members, supported “pausing” the Flock Safety program. They have not listened to, nor do they care, about the safety of Columbus residents. They want voters, plain and simple (simple being the ones who elected them).
“Columbus learned a long time ago that a necessary ingredient of public safety is public trust,” Hardin said in a statement to The Dispatch on Aug. 26.
They are as ignorant as they are arrogant. Look at the statistics. Flock cameras have been misused by some “bad apples” but overall, they are critical for law enforcement.
Critical to finding criminals.
The Columbus slogan must be, “Support criminals and screaming protesters. Ignore public safety. Blame the Trump administration for Flock cameras surveillance and misuse.”
They should have it printed on T-shirts.

Why can't Ramaswamy tell the truth?
It is concerning that a man who wants to be our next governor feels the need to run slanderous ads against his opponent that totally misrepresent the facts. If Vivek Ramaswamy is truly worthy of being our governor, he should be able to promote himself and his accomplishments without the use of scandalous lies about his opponent.
One ad states that Amy Acton's medical knowledge is insufficient and that she is so lacking in intelligence that she can't even work the remote on her television.
Another ad portrays Amy Acton passed out on the couch, with alcohol and pills spilled on the carpet.
I encourage all Ohioans to fact-check these ads. They are filled with lies and misrepresentations.
Do we really want someone as our governor who is so lacking in ethics and morals that he would run such inappropriate ads against his opponent? How can we support a man who would allow such ads to be aired? We need someone with higher standards to run our state. Ohioans, please do not be fooled by the lies and misinformation that Vivek Ramaswamy is peddling. Get the facts and vote responsibly!!!

Husted doesn't care who he hurts
What further proof do we need to demonstrate how low Jon Husted will go to maintain his Senate seat? He plays to Donald Trump’s MAGA base with no concern for those he may hurt. Husted claims he has asked that the cruel ad be pulled, but, as a relative of the victims’ family points out, it’s hard to take his comments as anything more than lip service when the ad is still posted online.
All that matters to Husted is that he wins the election so he can continue to serve Trump and his cruel agenda. Ohio certainly deserves better, and we can do something about it this November.
